Technical partnership

Partnerships

Your engineering team, without hiring one.

Some clients don't need a project delivered and handed over. They need a team that designs the product, builds it, ships it, and keeps it running week after week. That is what a partnership with DotTut is: we take the engineering, you keep the business.

What it means

One team, your product, our engineering

A partnership is not a longer project. It changes who carries the technical work.

We sit inside your business

One backlog, your priorities, and a regular rhythm of releases. You talk to the people writing the code, not to an account manager relaying messages.

Design and engineering together

The same team decides how a screen should work and then builds it, so decisions don't get lost in a handover between a design agency and a development shop.

You own all of it

The source code, the repository history and the intellectual property are yours, and the platform runs on your own accounts and infrastructure.

We keep it running

Releases, fixes, performance work and the next set of features. The work doesn't stop at launch, because for a live product that is where it starts.

BlackRidge: the platform behind their security services

BlackRidge Security helps small and mid-sized businesses with IT, cybersecurity and software. They needed their services to become a product their customers could sign in to.

From five services to one platform

Their work used to arrive as reports and spreadsheets. Now a customer opens the portal and sees the scans running against their applications, every finding in one list, what has been fixed, and what the security team is doing about the rest. The same platform runs the managed side of the business: penetration tests, bug bounty submissions and the researchers who get paid for them.

We have been their engineering team since the first commit: product design, the whole stack, releases and the work that follows a live platform.

Experientzia: a website their own team runs, in two languages

Experientzia is a consulting and business development company for small and medium-sized businesses. They wanted a site in English and Swedish that they could change themselves.

Nothing a visitor reads is fixed in the code

Every headline, paragraph, picture and page on the site is content their team edits in an admin panel, with the English and the Swedish side by side. A saved change shows on the site within seconds, with no developer in between.

We designed and built the site and the panel, and we release each new version. On their own partners page, Experientzia names DotTut as the software partner behind the site.

ProStandard: a calibration lab's website, software and marketing

ProStandard Calibration and Testing Laboratory is an ISO 9001:2015 certified lab in Thoothukudi. We look after everything digital for them: the website, the software the lab works with, and the marketing that brings its customers in.

Every instrument they calibrate, one search away

We designed and built their website around the lab's own catalogue: nine specialist labs and more than 120 instrument types, a search that knows the names customers use, a 3D journey that follows an instrument through the lab, and an enquiry form.

Behind the site, we build the software products and automations the lab works with, and we run its SEO and marketing. On their own site, ProStandard names DotTut as the technical partner behind it.

How it runs

A week at a time, in the open

STEP 1

Understand

We learn how the business actually works before proposing any software for it.

STEP 2

Design

Screens and flows first, so everyone agrees on the thing being built.

STEP 3

Build

Short cycles, each one reviewed through a pull request and tested before it merges.

STEP 4

Ship

Releases go out on a pipeline, so a new version is a routine event, not an evening of risk.

STEP 5

Run

We watch it in production, fix what breaks, and start the next cycle with what we learned.

What you get

Everything between the idea and the live product

Product design

Interface and flow design, and a system of components so the product stays consistent as it grows.

Full-stack engineering

Front end, back end, database and the background work nobody sees but everything depends on.

Integrations and APIs

The other systems your product has to talk to, and the API your own customers will build against.

Deployment and releases

Environments, build pipelines and a release you can repeat without holding your breath.

Security and access

Roles, permissions, tenant separation and second checks on the actions that move money, designed in rather than added after a scare.

Support that continues

Maintenance, performance work and new features for as long as the partnership runs.

Honestly

A partnership isn't right for everything

It fits when

  • Software is how your business runs or earns, not a side project.
  • The product will keep changing after launch, so someone has to own it.
  • You want one team accountable for design, code and what happens in production.
  • Hiring an in-house team is too slow, too expensive, or too early.

A project fits better when

  • The scope is clear and it ends: a website, an app, an automation.
  • You already have engineers and need a specific piece delivered.
  • You want a fixed price against a fixed list of features.

That is ordinary, good work and we do plenty of it. See what we have delivered.

Partnerships are priced by the month or by milestone, depending on how the work is shaped. Either way you own the code and the intellectual property.
